Daniel Lewis writes: “It was late… we were tired… and all the other restaurants in the area were closed! But a beacon of light with an “open” sign shot out from a parking lot just off I-95 at the Pooler exit and we didn’t know what kind of treat was in store for us! This is a “down home” sort of place with all the fixin’s you’d expect from a truely southern restaurant. Fried catfish, hush puppies and coleslaw were featured on the menu… but so were a ton of things you’d order anywhere from Maine to Florida… something for ALL tastes.”
