As part of preparing for the construction of the Moving Florida Forward projects along the Interstate 4 (I-4) corridor in northern Polk, Osceola, and southern Orange Counties, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) recently held an Industry Forum for the construction and engineering industries.

I-4 Polk County Road Work Update for the Week of November 20, 2022

This weekly report is prepared by Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to inform the public about upcoming road work in Polk County in Southwest Florida, for the week of November 20, 2022.

Below are the work schedule and lane closure locations for Interstate 4 road projects.

Motorists are reminded to wear safety belts and drive with caution, courtesy, common sense, and patience as they travel through work zones. Remember, speeding fines are doubled in work zones.
