A dazzling display of light, color and sound is waiting for those from Central Florida and beyond at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens. The highly anticipated seasonal event, Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild, presented by Publix, is now open.

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis gave an update on state preparation efforts ahead of Tropical Storm Nicole and urged Floridians to listen to local emergency management officials for updates related to their counties. The Florida Department of Transportation reports that there will be intermittent nightly lane closures on westbound Interstate 4 from State Route 417 (Exit 64 – Central Florida Greenway) to County Route 532 (Exit 58 – Championsgate Boulevard).
1 right lane will be closed Monday, October 17 through Thursday, November 10 from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Traffic delays are expected.
