I-4 Ramp to I-75 Closing This Weekend

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reports that beginning at 10:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, contractors will close the eastbound I-4 ramp to northbound I-75 in Tampa. This ramp is scheduled to reopen before 10:00 p.m., Sunday, September 10, weather permitting.

Florida DOT Suspends Lane Closures, Tolls as They Prepare for Hurricane Idalia

As Florida prepares for Hurricane Idalia, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has opened the maximum amount of lanes possible within construction zones to ensure mobility in impact areas. Contractors on these construction projects are currently securing work sites, clearing traffic control devices that are not actively being used to direct traffic, and checking drainage systems.

State Road 417 to Westbound I-4 Closure Scheduled

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) advises motorists to plan for an overnight closure scheduled to occur on the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) collector-distributor (C-D) road from State Road 417 on Wednesday, August 16.

The road will close as soon as 10:00 p.m. and will reopen by 6:00 a.m. the following morning.

Detours will be in place for motorists traveling to westbound I-4. FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs.

Relief for Notorious I-4 Traffic Bottleneck in Championsgate

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has just opened a much-needed lane on Interstate 4 between exit 60 (FL 429) and exit 58 (FL 532) in Championsgate.

The new westbound lane was added to accommodate traffic exiting the highway for Championsgate.
