Rockaway Beach RV Park – Rockaway Beach, OR

This is the most depressing campground I’ve been in my life. Paying $35 pernight for electric/wifi/water but this is not an rv park… no fellow campers having tailgate parties and enjoying themselves. It feels like home of the destitute. I was met by a manager wearing her pjs in late afternoon.

Bathroom garbage not changed, no paper in other stall since arrival, no soap except watered down half inch at bottom of pump bottle since arrival and really, couldn’t spring for new shower liner this season? Looks like it was put away wet last fall, molded and just rehung! The bathroom isn’t overly dirty but not great… new flooring. The laundry has seen better days but two washers and two dryers. Could be cleaner. Trash around most units that appear to be lifers.

On the plus side, It is only blocks to the ocean.
