Three Valley Campground – Holland, NY

This was by far the worst camping experience we have ever had. We could live with just having electric and water, but no sewer hook-up. The horrible part was that the owners seemed to not enforce the rules when their friends and family were involved. “Favored” campers were allowed to let their dogs run loose, stay out at campfires with loud music and vulgar language until early hours of morning when quiet time was supposed to start at 10 pm, towards the end of the season there was theft of firewood, The shower houses were filthy most of the summer season, dumpsters were inadequate for the number of campers that needed to use them and only emptied once a week. There were frequent reports of fights involving underage drinkers and golf cart accidents after spending time at the bar on the campground. Owners only seemed interested in collecting fees and not solving problems. There was a no refund policy which was enforced so once you paid, you were pretty much stuck there in spite of the horrible conditions.
