Virginia Beach KOA – Virginia Beach, VA

We arrived at Virginia Beach KOA and our reserved site was unavailable. They reassigned us a site.

The new site’s power did not work. Maintenance came and said That the site electric was ok and that the problem was with our trailer. I asked what his Ampmeter read and he said it couldn’t read it out. (I know better.) They reassigned us a site that was too small. I refused it and just pulled into an empty site and told them that was where I was staying. Hooked up and power worked. I called the office and asked for the Manager. The Manager called me. I explained what happened and she was not pleasant and eventually hung up. She never came out as I requested.

We stayed the night in the site we selected. This was our first KOA experience and it was absolutely horrible.
