This campground is not a family oriented park. Mostly long-term campers. They do not supply you with a set of rules when you make reservations. Our friends that were camping at the same time had a small campfire and it was smoking after dark, but not flaming.

Very rustic would be a generous description for Lake Panasoffkee KOA. There are old mobile homes scattered throughout the park… It’s not very attractive. Don’t count on shade. There are some trees but many sites, like our big site has no shade.
