Country Village RV Park – Ishpeming, MI

This campground is not a family oriented park. Mostly long-term campers.

They do not supply you with a set of rules when you make reservations. Our friends that were camping at the same time had a small campfire and it was smoking after dark, but not flaming. One of their “guards” woke the people up and made him go out and douse the smoke. They had fire rings.

I was there when they first opened, about 12 years ago and it was wonderful. In my opinion they were very rude. The only pleasant person was the gentleman that kept the sites mowed.

My family, was me (76), my son (48) and my granddaughter (6). I was not relaxed at all. I felt like I was walking on egg shells. We were there 4 nights and did not have a campfire. I didn’t set outside at all.

I will not return and would not recommend it to families with children.
