31 Story Hotel, Mega-Mall and Observation Tower Proposed Orlando’s International Drive

According to plans submitted to the city of Orlando, An international firm intends to develop a mega-mall and hotel with an observation deck on International Drive in Orlando.

The development will include a multi-level upscale shopping mall, indoor ice arena, a food court, 24 hour revolving restaurant, a 31 story, twin-tower 1,263 room hotel and a nine-level parking garage. All this topped with a 450′ tall observation deck.

iSquare Mall and Hotel Development LLC, plans to level the International Shoppes building on the southeast corner of International Drive and Kirkman Road and redevelop the property into a world class tourist destination and 7-star luxury hotel.

The project is expected to go before the city’s municipal planning board in June for master-plan approval.
