Fort Collins/Lakeside KOA – Fort Collins, CO

As full-time RVers, we had the worst experience of our lives at the Fort Collins/Lakeside KOA campground and RV park.

In my opinion, the owner has violent temper. He became threatening and verbally abusive when my wife asked about the extra fees they charge for the children’s playground. The campground is located in an industrial zone, surrounded by gravel quarries and an active asphalt plant. Sites on the east side, with nearby stagnant water, have lots of mosquitos. Our water supply has a brown tint. Our power would go out whenever there was a lightning storm.
